Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) enables the electronic transmission of documents between companies using a standardized format. EDI contains the data in a structured way, allowing it to be processed automatically, minimizing manual intervention.
The Inforolot module integrates electronic data interchanges between your company and your customers, suppliers, shippers and online stores directly in Business Central. Convert the different data formats used by the company and your partners, as well as the processing of incoming and outgoing data. Therefore, it supports the transactions you will need for the electronic management of the supply chain in purchases, sales and logistics.
In addition to the adaptation of the messages that are required, the EDI – Electronic Data Interchange module already includes the configuration of the parameters used by the system to use EDI, such as the identification of the products by EAN code, the EDI references of the customers and suppliers or the locations where to store the files used for communication.
